In a lively livestream event that kicked off with a nod to Ferris Bueller’s iconic “Save Ferris” scene, Pilatus officially launched its latest masterpiece: the PC-12 PRO, on March 14. This isn’t just a facelift; it’s a full-on upgrade to one of the most trusted names in aviation, now more powerful, smarter, and sleeker than ever.

The PC-12 PRO, typically equipped at around $6.8 million, has already earned its wings with FAA and EASA certifications. That means it’s ready to hit the skies with confidence, delivering performance and reliability that pilots and owners can trust.
An additional 100 pounds means more flexibility and cargo capacity. Revised exterior paint schemes and fresh colors give it that modern edge. The cabin now boasts updated seats, cabinets, and a new lavatory — all in the style of the sleek PC-24. Equipped with the advanced Garmin G3000 Prime avionics, featuring emergency Autoland, touchscreens, and smarter automation.
Stan Kuliavas, VP of sales for Levaero (Canada’s exclusive Pilatus distributor), recently flew the PRO in Switzerland and called its performance “impressive.” He praised the Swiss-engineered platform powered by the Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6 engine — the most reliable in the world — combined with the industry’s most sophisticated avionics suite.
The heart of the new cockpit is Garmin’s G3000 Prime system, boasting three giant 14-inch touchscreens with edge-to-edge, sunlight-readable glass. The system’s processors are four times faster than previous models, enabling quick responses and seamless automation, including smart checklists and a built-in crew alerting system. Plus, the system supports Wi-Fi, LTE, Bluetooth, SiriusXM, and even remote database updates via Garmin’s PlaneSync system.
Pilots will love the new control yokes, styled after the PC-24 jet, allowing one-handed operation of essential functions like autopilot, TCAS, and pitch trim — all while maintaining optimal visibility thanks to the removal of the direct vision window.
Luxury meets function with taller, full-recline seats, six fresh interior palettes, and the option for custom interiors. It’s all about comfort, style, and making every flight feel like a VIP experience.
Since its debut in 1994, the PC-12 has delivered over 2,100 units worldwide—serving military, medical, and commercial operators alike. Canadian agencies like the RCMP, Ontario Provincial Police, and Ornge have trusted it for years, and it’s clear why: reliability, versatility, and constant innovation.
The PC-12 PRO isn’t just an upgrade; it’s a revolution in turboprop aviation. With its cutting-edge tech, improved design, and proven performance, it’s set to redefine what’s possible in the skies.
Ready to elevate your flying experience? The future is here — and it’s called PC-12 PRO.
